Today's Seeds, Tomorrow's Flowers

I haven't been here in a minute. I have, however, been in my makeshift studio. And that has been great. But I'm not here to talk about me. I'm here to talk about this amazingly inspiring installation of tiny paintings by Michele Théberge. Actually, I don't want to talk about it. Watch the video.

It is simple, but incredible: one woman artist reached out to the world, asking for their intentions. Then she planted them as seeds. I am so moved. I hope you enjoy.

A footnote: I found Michele in my attempt to learn more about Liquitex Pouring Medium. You know how I'm obsessed with rivers viewed from space?

Well, I have been obsessed with painting them, too. First, I was using Pebeo Vitrail paints, which are gorgeous, but the fumes started getting to me. My art stockist recommended I switch to tar gel and pouring medium, but I struggled with it a bit. I still haven't sorted it out, but her videos were very informative. Here's one of my 6x6 inch river experiements with the pouring medium.

I wrote all about these experiments, but I think that post is in my pending posts. So, yeah. Look forward to it.

Anyway.... I am going away now. :) Have a wonderful week!
